Sexual Arousal Products for Women

Have trouble getting in the mood? Thinking about trying an arousal cream or lubricant for so assistance? Today there are many options on the market but knowing which one to try can be overwhelming. It is important to know what your desired result is before settling on product.

Personal Experience

Last week I was sent a sample of KY INTENSE, a new arousal lubricant for women. The product is due to hit stores at the beginning of April and the 3.4 oz pump will retail for $24.99. Because I have a low libido, I welcome any chance to try out a new method for arousal. So, last night, I put the product to the test, with male assistance of course!

Now, to make my research a bit more thorough, I decide to compare the KY INTENSE to my favorite arousal cream, Nympho Niagra from Pure Romance.

How To Use

For convenience purposes, KY INTENSE comes in a pump. One pump is all it takes to start. Simply rub the gel on your clitoris, or have your man assist you (I found that to be a lot more fun). Because the KY INTENSE doubles as a lubricant, it can be used for foreplay and for intercourse. As it becomes activated, it creates a warming sensation, as do several KY products. If you find that one pump doesn’t do the trick, use more as needed.

Unlike KY INTENSE, Nympho Niagra comes in cream form. Simply put a pea sized amount on your figure or on a Q-tip and swap on the clitoris as well as just inside the vagina. This cream helps to increase blood flow to you genitals so that arousal is near instantaneous. After just about a minute, you won’t be able to keep off of your man!

Pros and Cons for KY INTENSE

PROS:

has a handy pump and attractive packaging
creates an awesome warming sensation as it activates
doubles as a lubricant
can be used as a foreplay and/or intercourse enhancer

CONS:

$24.99 only gets you 20 pumps
doesn’t warm without stimulation
arousal has to be helped along and isn’t instantaneous
wears off after just a couple minutes

Pros and Cons for Nympho Niagra

PROS:

arousal only takes about a minute to occur
no stimulation is required to sense arousal
safe for even the most sensitive women
one container last for 40-50 uses and is only $18

CONS:

simply a cream, not a lube
not edible

So Which is Better?

While the KY INTENSE had pleasurable effects, I have to admit that I would be hard pressed to pay $24.99 for only 20 pumps when the arousal requires stimulation. That isn’t to say that it doesn’t at the least work as a good lubricant. The Nympho Niagra, however, does provide near instant arousal without manual stimulation. At $18 for over twice the uses at KY INTENSE, the Nympho Niagra is hard to beat. And although it doesn’t act as a lubricant, the intense sense of arousal one pea-sized swap creates makes it one of my very best friends.
