What Single Women Really Want in a Man
If you’re a single woman, at least one person has told you that you can have any man you want. And, truth be told, when some fool says this to me it just pisses me off. My first thought is that if I could have any many I want, Shemar Moore would be keeping me warm at night. I mean, just look at him! Who the hell wouldn’t want that body in their bed every night. As we used to say back in the day, he can eat crackers in my bed any time!
But really it’s about more than that and any single woman will tell you that. We want more than a hot body, a big wallet and a sweet ride. We’re not really gold diggers and it isn’t about what you have…no matter how hot what you have is.
No, what we really want is a man of substance. A man who knows who and what he is and loves himself anyway. And, at the same time, a man who knows who and what we are and loves us in spite of, or maybe because of, it.
Sure this varies as much as men and women vary. Our ideal relationship is subject to interpretation. It’s as individual as we are. Some women want a relationship just like mom and dad’s. Some want a man to be the Big to their Carrie. Still others want turbulence and tension while others crave tenderness and playfulness. It’s about finding the man who compliments us.
It’s not about what you have, what you drive, or where you live. It’s about you knowing who you are, having goals, and caring who we are. A real woman wants a man who is real. We don’t want to compete with you, we aren’t out to use you or cheat on you. We don’t live to degrade you or judge you.
We just want you to be who you appear to be. We want you to be honest, faithful and to be about more than those things you may think we’re after.

I think you hit the nail on the head with the statement:

For a relationship to be successful you need two people who know who and what they are and love themselves and who also knows who and what the other is and loves them as well! If you have this you have a great foundation for a successful relationship.
