Find Love In 90 Days

Okay, first of all I’m going to be honest and tell you that I don’t know yet what I think about this. In some ways, I can see validity in some of it, but other parts leave me a little skeptical.

Her program is a four-pronged approach

According to Dr. Diana Kirschner, the first thing you need to do is identify and break your deadly dating habits including:

  • The Hermit: You’re too busy, you’re working,  you’re a parent.
  • The Flameout: This one is where things are hot and heavy from the beginning and then it fizzles out just as quickly.
  • Not Perfect, I’ll Pass: Here we pass over any man who is too tall, too short, too whatever.
  • I Will Make You Love Me: This is the fatal attraction scenario where you do everything you can to reel the guy in. You cook for him, clean for him, get him tickets to the big game or concert, yada, yada, yada.

The next step is going on a dating program of three where you date three men at one time without having sex with any of them. In this step you are to join 2 online dating sites including a big one such as Match.com and a boutique site. In addition to this, Kirschner suggests Googling activities that men like to do and then going to them as a way to find those three men. Hmmm…not a great option in Map Dot maybe but whatever.

Step three is cultivating your diamond self even giving yourself a ‘diamond’ name like Queen Latifah did. Supposedly this helps you break through the shyness.

Finally, get a love mentor…a fairy godmother type who gives you support, tells it like it is and helps you find the one.

You can visit Love in 90 Days for more information including a dating tips blog, dating articles and quizzes, information on workshops and a daily love affirmation. I will say that I really like the daily love affirmation and the 8 Steps to a Finding True Love: The 2009 Dating Plan had some good ideas.

She’s got a lot of great tips that already believe in and write about.

I don’t know about 90 days, but following this kind of plan and sticking to it would definitely sway the odds in one’s favor.

Dating 3 men at a time is great advice. You can evaluate more at one time.
And I love the “new you” party. Adopting a new mindset and opening oneself to optimism while having a plan is a great formula.

See Seductress that whole dating three guys business is hard for me. I’m not good at it…not at all!

Haha Gwen! I have got to find a way for you to meet Lenny! :D

I never joined a boutique site but think I would if I were single. It seems like a way to make sure that you can find someone who shares at least one of your passions – owning pets, being veggie, being Christian, whatever. I’d love it if there were one for atheists!
