Signs of a Cheating Partner
Yesterday, Kira explored the revolting world of Ashley Madison. It seems fitting to discuss catching a cheater. It is possible to catch them. In doing some research, I found one site where a 28 year old married soldier serving in Iraq describes how he caught his wife using Ashley Madison to look for an affair.
Private investigator Tony DeLorenzo offers these tips If you think your partner is cheating. DeLorenzo says there are many warning signs to do your own investigation.
Top signs that your partner is cheating:
- having meetings all of a sudden
- talking about a certain person excessively
- looking away when asked why he or she is late
- keeping a diary
- is nervous when asked about meetings, etc. (watch the hands)
- can’t reach them on a certain day of the week
By the way, Lorenzo says the number one way to catch someone is by checking their cell phone bills. I decided to do a little research in order to offer some other ways to catch a suspected cheater and, of course, I found some. But I also found some things that appalled me.
Almost more prevalent than websites giving tips to catching cheating partners, were website offering tips describing how NOT to get caught having an affair. There are tips for removing lipstick from your collar, tips for booking a hotel room for a secret affair, how you CAN cover your tracks, and even how 5 steps to having an affair on Valentine’s Day.

People will always find a way to cheat but these sites seem to legitimize adultery somehow.
Adultery is wrong, if your relationship isn’t working, try and fix it. If you truly can’t fix it and it’s over for you, leave, give the relationship and your partner the respect they deserve. Don’t leave them with the double whammy of trying to grieve over the end combined with the demons of why they weren’t enough for you.
And remember Karma, she can be a bitch sometimes.

Websites to help you cover your tracks – that is amazing. One of my readers caught his wife having an affair when he found a no-contract pre-paid cell phone with “I love you” text messages on it. I guess the websites didn’t explain where and where not to hide your prepaid phone? (That’s a joke, but I guess I shouldn’t laugh)

It would be SO obvious if the BF or if I were having an affair. Generally, we leave our e-mails logged in and our phones lying around – he usually takes my phone when he walks the dog alone and he is always encouraging me to use his Blackberry to look up things or answer his texts for him when we are both in the car and he is driving.
