Huh? A Cuckold Relationship?
Recently, I was reading over a post about Craigslist Dating over at Dad’s House. I realized it was probably the one online dating avenue I hadn’t yet tried. So a couple of times over the last few weeks I have browsed profiles but didn’t really see anyone who jumped out at me.
The other morning, I went back to browse again. Still nothing. This was turning out to be a exercise in futility. I was about to click and move on to something else when I thought, ‘Hmmm….maybe I should just post my own ad.
I took parts of my newly crafted dating resume and did just that. It didn’t take long for emails to start coming in. Sadly, there weren’t many with potential. One who read the part about preferring tall, younger men and thought, at 51 and 5′8″, he’d give it a shot anyway. Another who read the looking for an LTR, not a sexual relationship (which I added) and sent this crazy email about he could satisfy me sexually. A couple of others not really worth mentioning, one with potential and then this one.
Have you ever considered a cuckold relationship? After reading your profile and preferences, I believe that you would enjoy one. Its the best of both worlds. You’d have a man to take care of, love, adore and worship you and you would never have to share physical intimacy with him unless you wanted to. The exciting part would be that you could freely date, have sex and anything else you wanted to do with other, younger men whenever you like. What do you think?
Huh? A what? I thought I knew some things about the different kinds of relationships and the trends in the dating world, but this was one I had never heard of. So, I did what anyone would do and plugged it into Google.
In case you are as clueless as I was, Wikipedia defines a cuckold relationship as:
A cuckold is a married man whose wife has sex with other men. In current usage it sometimes refers to non-married couples in committed relationships as well, although the traditional meaning is a man whose wife is adulterous.
Again. Huh? A what? I quickly sent a reply saying that I wasn’t sure what in my ad would possibly make him think that I would be interested in such a thing, but that I wasn’t. He replied back saying:
no problem….let me know when you change your mind. you are unbelievably hot and sexy and should be worshipped xxxxxxx
Good Lord. This just gets stranger and stranger. I’m still not sure what led him to think this kind of thing was for me. And, after the second email, I don’t know whether to be flattered or completely creeped out.
Apparently, in a cuckold relationship, the woman is free to see and sleep with whomever she chooses. She also controls whether or not she has sex with the man in the relationship. He simply abides by whatever she chooses. He, in fact, adores and worships her taking care of all of her other needs.
Can I just say WTF? I can’t for the life of me figure out what kind of man would prefer this type of relationship. According to what I read in some cases it’s almost a masochistic kind of thing for the man. He enjoys the emotional torture and is completely submissive to the woman. They enjoy the humiliation.
I don’t know about you, but this definitely does NOT sound like the kind of man I want in my life. Almost nothing turns me off more than a doormat. The whole sex with other men thing aside, why would I want to spend my time with someone I don’t even respect because, truth be told, I can’t respect someone who can’t stand up to me.

Whatever floats your boat ! Incidentally skedaddle your yankee behind back to mine and kindly clarify which 3 of the 10 you’ve done, don’t leave me in suspense, I was guessing the car, the hot air balloon or maybe the dolphins but I know from prev posts which 1 for definite, nearly crossed that line myself recently !

Umm, definately pass on that one! What the hell? This is exactly what is so frustrating about online dating. You have to weed through all the freaks, and I’m sure you and I can attest to the fact that there are a LOT of freaks out there.

CL is an odd place. I have had success meeting normal, intelligent, attractive, sexy women there. I’ve also run into some bizarre people. Never heard of cuckold - now I know!

ha yeah it sounds crazy but you know there’s some woman out there going “WHAT?! I can be in a relationship and still sleep with as many other men as I please and he can only sleep with me?! SWEET!!!!” It’s absurd to me but I’m sure there some sickos out there who got super excited. I just can’t imagine any sane man agreeing to that….

There are variations concerning any sexual kink as in the cuckold lifestyle. The person that responded to your ad expressed the type of particular relationship he was looking for. It is obviously negotiable with each couple what the parameters are. I would hope that individuals would have an open mind concerning sexual relationships new to them.

I read the other blogs. Here is mine. I’m a cuckold and enjoy my place and relationship very much. We’ve been married 30 years. Soon after children our relationship was struggling and I could tell/feel she felt trapped and wanted more from life. I explained to her that I loved and adored her very much and would support her thru her quest(s) to live a fuller life. It has been the greatest adventures of both our lives!
